33 Years of Singha R-SA’s Mobile Medical Unit
Near the end of the year, Singha R-SA has a mission to provide access to healthcare to people living in remote areas with our Mobile Medical Unit. In 2020, our unit traveled to Phaya Mengrai District in Chaing Rai Province and organize our “33 Years with Singha R-SA’s Mobile Medical Unit” project at Ban Mai Suksan School on November 26th.
The medical personnel in our team were from the Faculty of Medicine, Mae Fah Luang University. Fully equipped with all the medical supplies, the doctors conducted health checks for the villagers, most of whom were elders and young children, and taught them about sanitation, proper winter healthcare, as well as the smog which could potentially cause long-term health effects. The patients were also given warm overcoats to help protect them from the cold.
Throughout the years, Singha R-SA and the Mobile Medical Unit of Phraya Bhirombhakdiom Foundation are determined to continue the original resolution to provide people access to quality healthcare and improve their quality of life. Moving forward, we will continue to provide proper healthcare to the villagers, with cooperation from four other faculties of medicine in their respective province.
