33 years with Mobile Medical Unit @Chiang Mai
Every winter, many villagers in the rural areas of Thailand have to suffer from the cold weather which causes many health issues and also prevents them from going to work. Every year, Singha R-SA would organize a Mobile Medical Unit to provide healthcare treatments for those suffering from cold disasters. In 2020, we organized the “33 years with Mobile Medical Unit” project, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, to visit and offer health check to villagers at Mae Sap Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Samoeng District, Chiang Mai.
Many of the villagers were old people who suffered back pain, knee pain, presbycusis, and respiratory diseases. In addition to the basic treatment, the medical team also offered acupuncture treatment to help relieve certain symptoms and improve their body balance so that everyone would remain healthy throughout the year 2020. We continue to work hard on the will of the Phraya Bhirombhakdi Foundation to improve the quality of life of people living in rural areas.
