While the Singha R-SA Vocational training courses continued into the month of October, Singha R-SA also led another project simultaneously which is the fourth edition of Farmer School Program. For this program, Singha R-SA worked alongside the local ‘wise persons’ (SINGHA R-SA’s Local Learning Center in Chiang Rai) to educate next-generation farmers on organic agricultural techniques and encourage them to avoid using chemicals in their farm. Because through organic farming, once it yields profit, farmers would be able to generate stable income for their families and attain a better quality of life. Additionally, consumers would also have better health, free from worrying about any contamination.

The program runs for five months, after which the wise persons will pass on the knowledge and experience gained during the program to others and help develop an organic agricultural proficiency within their community.
