When heavy rain fell, the river breached its banks causing flash flooding in many areas of Baan Manow Muang district in Loei Province. All the roads were submerged and became impassable, so the villagers were suffering.
SINGHA R-SA was concerned about their plight so we cooperated with Chalermchai Panich (Loei) Limited Partnership and SINGHA R-SA Student Network from Loei Rajabhat University. We traveled to Baan Manow on 21st May and waded through knee-deep flood water to hand out drinking water and bags of rice to the disaster victims.
When the water subsided, the villagers cleaned away the mud deposited by the flood waters. SINGHA R-SA knew that it was going to be hard work but we would like to support them. “Never give up.” SINGHA R-SA will be there to help them when they need it most.
