It all begins with “the cold”. When the cold strikes, we realize how important our family of Singha Volunteers are. From the end of November to the beginning of December, Singha Volunteers from the Boon Rawd Brewery Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Phraya Bhirombhakdi Foundation brought 20,000 winter coats to people suffering from the cold in North Eastern Thailand. On this mission we were also assisted by students from the Singha Volunteer Network at Khon Kaen University, Rajamangala University of Technology North-Eastern, and Rajabhat Roi Et University. We scheduled our mission for five days to cover as many areas as possible. 23 November (Amphur Nong Soong, Amphur Kum Chanee, Amphur Wan Yai) Mukdahan Province 24 November (Amphur Na Kae, Amphur Wang Yang, Amphur Pla Pak) Nakorn Phanom Province 25 November (Amphur Pon Na Kaew, Amphur Koke Sri Supan) Sakon Nakorn Province 1 December (Amphur Aaj Sa Mard, Amphur Mueng Sruang, Ampur Chatupak Piman, Amphur Sri Somdej) Roi Et Province 2 December (Amphur Kamalasai, Amphur Rong Kum, Amphur Kongchai, Amphur Yang Talad) Kalasin Province The love of the local people kept our spirits high and washed all our sweat and tears away.
