After the three cooking courses in the “Culinary Career Development” program, it’s time for our vocational training program which are divided into 2 categories: Home Service and Office Skills, of which the objectives are to provide technical, graphic design and online entrepreneurship trainings for the participants to enhance their career path with their skills and knowledge. The home electrician training course, one of the Home Service courses, took place on 14-15 August. Experienced instructors from Institute of Vocational Education: Central Region 1 kindly shared their knowledge on electrician skills starting from the most basic techniques since some participants had zero experience. The course was short but accelerated to ensure the knowledge obtained would be practical for the participants’ career.

The first day focused on basic knowledge and electrical circuit operation practice. The second day involved a practical session where the participants had a chance to fix real home appliances. One of the advantages of the practical session was that the participants could ask for the instructors’ advice right away. With the knowledge from both days combined, it was truly a worthy and beneficial course.
