While many provinces in Thailand were suffering from drought, some were affected by prolonged rain. Sakon Nakhon Province experienced continuous heavy rainfall which caused flooding two meters high in some areas. The villagers were unable to travel freely and lacked food and fresh drinking water.

On 27 August, Singha R-SA joined forces with our volunteers from Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University and traveled to Wanon Niwat District of Sakon Nakhon Province. We carried rice and drinking water to help the flood victims.

We saw that many people were distressed, so we encouraged everyone to smile again as we knew that this problem would quickly be resolved.
