Helping the Victims of Tropical Storm “Pabuk” @Nakhon Si Thammarat

Early in January 2019, Tropical Storm “Pabuk” went through Thailand and caused many people to panic because the Thai Meteorological Department reported that the storm was as strong as Tropical Storm Harriet, which damaged Talumpuke Foreland in southern Thailand in 1962. Luckily, the storm decreased in strength before it reached Thailand, so the situation wasn’t as bad as expected.

On January 4th to 5th, after the storm had passed, Singha R-SA cooperated with the Distributor of Singorachat, Part., Ltd. and the scholar network from Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University to aid to the victims in the affected districts of Pak Phanang, Hua Sai and Mueang in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, by providing water and rice.

Despite Tropical Storm “Pabuk” causing damage to many people, the Thai people remained kind-hearted and helped each other. Singha R-SA admired every volunteer and offered encouragement to all affected people.
