The heavy flooding in Southern Thailand deprived local villagers of food and clean water, so SINGHA R-SA distributed packs of drinking water and bags of rice. Additionally, Mr. Todd Piti Bhirombhakdi posted his intention to purchase 20 tons of rice from farmers via his Facebook page. This food relief was distributed to flood victims in the name of Khao Chaona Chuay Chao Tai (Delivering farmer’s rice to flood victims in South Thailand) Project.

On 11 January, SINGHA R-SA traveled to Surin, Buriram, Sisaket, and nearby areas to buy rice from farmers. Some farmers also donated rice. After purchase, the rice was forwarded to SINGHA R-SA Student Network for packaging. Later, SINGHA R-SA, Singha All Star Team, and many celebrities traveled to Surat Thani to distribute 6,000 liters of drinking water, 2.5 tons of rice, and 500 boxes of rice to flood victims in Mooban Trai Ngam and Mooban Tabtan.

SINGHA R-SA also traveled to Southern Thailand including Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Phatthalung, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Krabi, Trang, and Songkhla Provinces. We distributed 26 tons of rice and 250 thousand liters of drinking water.
