Local Rescue Volunteer Training Project @Ayutthaya

After completing the Water Rescue Training Course 2020, Singha R-SA began our volunteer training project with Ayutthaya as our first stop. The local communities in the vicinity of Wang Noi Beverage Company Limited were heavily impacted (economically) from the Covid-19 pandemic. So we decided to employ the locals as volunteers in our project to help them secure an income, allow them to protect their own neighborhood, and teach them the correct rescue techniques with instructors from Singha R-SA’s Local Rescue Volunteer Training Project.

During our training on November 14-15, the rescue team from Ayutthaya, who was previously trained by the Seal Unit, helped instruct and provide knowledge on rescue techniques to people in the community, including first aid training, CPR guideline, and most importantly water rescue technique they learned from the Seal. Additionally, officers from the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation of Ayutthaya were invited to give an instruction on basic fire-fighting techniques. Everyone was involved during the training, from the locals to the workers, so they have the skills to help and protect their community, and also be able to pass on their knowledge to others, creating a strong, long-lasting network of local volunteers.
