ສະບາຍດີ everyone! Today I would like to greet you in Lao language, as Singha Volunteers just had the opportunity to pass on the warmth to Laos on 7 December. Singha Volunteers in collaboration with the Singha Beer agent stationed at Luang Prabang carried over 1000 winter coats to students at Suksa Somboon Secondary School, Kai, Luang Prabang. Our similar traditions and cultures enabled us to connect with the students with ease and warmth. We soon became one big family. At that time of the year the weather is very cold in Laos. This made us even more eager to share the warmth with all the students, walking up to them with winter coats in our hands and open arms ready to give out warm hugs. Pictures of our volunteers with small children wrapped up in warm hugs are the most impressive sights one could see. Moreover, we passed on the warmth in other areas: Chiangkwang, Bor Kaew, Chiayaburi, Sawankhet, and Pak Sae as well.
