Singha R Sa’s medical staff support mission does not only include food and Singha drinking water donation, but we also care about their safety. We worked with Singha R Sa student network from the Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, Wang Klai Kangwon Campus to make protective acrylic boxes for medical staff to use during the COVID-19 screening process.
On 21 April 2020, Singha R Sa and Singha R Sa student network from Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, Wang Klai Kangwon Campus, sponsored by Boonrawd Brewery Company Limited and Phraya Bhirombhakdi Foundation, made and donated 50 protective acrylic boxes to hospitals in Prachuab Kirikhan and Petchaburi provinces, as well as hospitals in the south, such as Prince of Songkhla Hospital in Songkhla, Vachira Phuket Hospital, Suratthani Hospital and Yala Hospital, in order to help medical staff work more confidently and safely. They could insert their hands through the openings on the boxes to perform endotracheal intubation while keeping distance with the patients.
Up until now, Singha R Sa has donated protective acrylic boxes to various hospitals as planned. The first hospital to receive the boxes was Thayang District Public Health Center in Petchaburi. In addition, Singha R Sa is constantly providing food and drinking water support for medical staff to express our encouragement to all doctors, nurses and staff. We will fight together until the situation is relieved.
