Even though the heavy rain eventually ended, the water continued to rise as the Khong river swelled, damaging the villages along its banks.
To offer support to the villagers in the flooded district of Nakae, a team of volunteers from Sakhonnakhon Rajabhat University joined Singha R-SA in delivering clean fresh water and rice to the people affected on 2nd August 2018.
Although the damage from the disaster had already been done, it could be hoped that the support offered by Singha R-SA would at least help to lift people’s spirits and provide relief from their problems. Through kindness and encouragement, we hope that the worst of the crisis will be short.
