Providing Flood Relief @Nan

During the month of August, northern Thailand was hit by very heavy rain generated by the Tropical Storm Bebinca. The rain caused water levels to rise and rivers to overflow, flooding the homes of villagers living near the water. One of the worst-affected areas was the district of Wiangsa in Nan province.

When Singha R-SA learned about this situation, we responded immediately with the help of the Distributors of Choocheep Nan Partnership, Nan’s Restaurant Club, and the volunteer networks from Phayao University and Mae Fah Luang University. The first plan was to take clean water and rice to the people whose homes had been flooded in Wiangsa district on the 19th and 20th August 2018.

Singha R-SA placed great importance on the need to deliver kindness and to make sure that everyone affected knew the dangers posed by animals and diseases carried in the floodwaters. We hoped for a quick recovery to bring happiness back to the people involved.
