In the middle of January, we rushed up north to handle duties at the ‘R-SA Pattana Camp’ in the northern provinces, where we worked at Baan Sila School, Amphoe Lom Kao, Phetchabun Province. For this, SINGHA R-SA Boonrawd received support from a group of eight Rajabhat universities in the northern provinces: Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University, Lampang Rajabhat University, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, Uttaradit Rajabhat University, Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University, Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University, and Phetchabun Rajabhat University. Activities aimed at improving educational institutions this time were divided into different categories over the five days of activities: – To improve the all-purpose building – To paint the sala (R & R area) within the school – To repair the playground – To construct sinks (so kindergarteners can brush their teeth and wash their faces) – To upgrade the learning/teaching media in the building – To improve the Self-Sufficient Economy Center within the school Even when it came time for us to leave, looking back and seeing the joyful faces of the children there as they saw us off was a precious gift that granted us happiness and satisfaction.
