Singha Voluntouring is a new project to recruit foreign backpackers in the Khao San Road area to do volunteer work with SINGHA R-SA. The benefits of the project are that not only do the backpackers have a chance to help others, but they also get the opportunity to travel all around Thailand for free. This time we recruited two Germans and two Netherlanders to travel to Chiang Rai and help us build a cafeteria at Ban Wang Lao School, Chiang Rai during a three day program. A SINGHA R-SA team from Mae Fah Luang University was also there to help us. “This is the first time we had the opportunity to do volunteer work with Thai students. Thanks to SINGHA R-SA for the chance to experience a new adventure, These times in Mae Fah Luang have not been wasted” – A quote from Joosh, a volunteer from the Netherlands.
