At the beginning of March 2020, a sudden tropical thunderstorm has hit Khon Kaen, causing great damages to hundreds of households. As soon as Singha R-Sa was informed, we immediately prepared ourselves to travel to the site to investigate the damages and provide assistance to those affected by the situation. From our preliminary site survey in Ban Nong Ku and Ban Lao Pone Thong, Ban Wa sub-district, Mueang district, Khon Kaen, we found over 440 households damaged.

Therefore, on 6 March, the Singha R-Sa team and Singha R-Sa student network from Khon Kaen University traveled to the site to donate drinking water and Pundee rice to help and deliver encouragement to the victims in Ban Nong Ku and Ban Lao Pone Thong, Ban Wa sub-district, Mueang district, Khon Kaen.

From our discussion with the locals, we learned about their situation. In addition to damaged houses, electricity and supply water did not run. The Singha R-Sa team would like to let them know that we are here to help them and that we will get through this together
