Support for Flood Victims during December 2017

Continuous heavy rains caused widespread flooding across many provinces in Southern Thailand and Southern people faced more hardship from unseasonable floods in December. Heavy rain continued causing flash floods and over 10,000 households and several areas were terribly affected. Water had overtaken the roads so boats became the only mode of transportation for the residents at the time. But it was not convenient for them. Those flood victims also might have to suffer from lack of adequate food and safe drinking water.

Our SINGHA R-SA mission had started again because we were concerned about people who were affected from devastating floods. We went to give safe drinking water to many flood victims in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla and Trang. This time we cooperated with representative dealers from Singha Orachat Co.,Ltd., Krung Thong Southern Part.,Ltd., Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, and Trang Trading Co.,Ltd.

We had helped a lot of people in extreme flood areas. Water levels were extremely high, so we waded into floods and through rainwater in order to rescue the flood victims. Even though we were very exhausted during this mission, an expression of gratitude and warm welcome with smiles from them incredibly removed our fatigue.

SINGHA R-SA would like to encourage all of the flood victims who faced continued flooding and had to restore their damaged houses. After a storm comes a calm, we believe that everything will be alright.
