During the first half of October, SINGHA R-SA continued to provide support for flood victims. Heavy rainfall caused the water in the Chao Phraya Dam to rise to unsafe levels, and many villages and agricultural areas were flooded. This reduced normal village life to chaos with lack of water and some villages also ran short of food. To resolve these problems, SINGHA R-SA volunteers and SINGHA R-SA Network traveled immediately to Ayutthaya, Angthong, Nakhon Sawan, and Sing Buri Provinces to provide assistance, carrying over 5,000 liters of water and 3 tons of rice. SINGHA R-SA gave encouragement and support in this time of need. We believe that difficult times are only temporary, and better prospects are always just ahead over the horizon.
