Each year, flooding is a significant health and environmental issue for Thailand that poses serious risk of damage to the lives and property of Thai people. In the current calendar year, so much rain has fallen that it has made the water in the Chaophraya Dam rise to unsafe levels. As a result, numerous villages and agricultural areas throughout the country have been flooded. As soon as SINGHA R-SA learned about the flood damage and victims, trips were made to various locations including Phayao, Phitsanulok, Loei, Sukhothai, Ayutthaya, and Angthong in order to provide assistance in the form of more than 1,000 packs of bottled water and 500 bags of rice. The SINGHA R-SA team extends its most sincere words of support and optimism that the future will bring happier times.
