This year, Southern Thailand suffered heavy rainfall that caused flash floods and many rural districts in Surat Thani Province were submerged in water one meter deep. Village life was disrupted and lives were in danger. On 4 December, SINGHA R-SA and SINGHA R-SA Volunteer Network from Prince of Songkla University and Kusolsattha Surat Thani Foundation traveled to Phunpin and Chaiya Districts in Surat Thani to distribute packs of drinking water and bags of rice to flood victims. We cannot prevent natural disasters but during hard times SINGHA R-SA is always there to give support and encouragement to the people and help them to survive these difficult times.
