Supporting Medical Personnel During COVID – 19 Pandemic
For the majority of 2020, everyone in Thailand did very well in living their life while protecting themselves from Covid-19 infection. However, the situation became serious once again in December, when the number of new cases reached an all-time high and spread through many provinces. Samut Sakhon, in particular, saw a critical surge of cases that had put a strain on the medical workers who needed to work extra hard to contain the outbreak. To express our support and gratitude towards the medical workers, Singha R-SA began delivering drinking water to hospitals, including Rajavithi Hospital and Samut Sakhon Hospital.
Furthermore, we went to the Shrimp Central Market in Samut Sakhon to give rice and drinking water to the workers who were in quarantine after discovering that there were a lot of people under quarantine, but not enough food supplies. While we have accomplished our mission, Singha R-SA continued to monitor the situation, so we can always be prepared to send support when necessary. We intend to stand beside everyone and face this crisis together.
