The Water Rescue and Diving Training Program was conducted to increase knowledge and develop water rescue skills for rescue officers to allow them to handle the immediate situation safely according to international standards.
The officers who attended this program were rescuers from six southern provinces including Chumphon, Surat Thani, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Krabi and Ranong. The program took place during 23-27 May 2019 at Phra Maha Jesada Raja Chao Camp, The 1st Infantry King’s Own Bodyguard Regiment of Sattahip District of Chonburi Province. Instructors from the camp helped us by sharing their knowledge.
For five training-days, the rescuers were instructed in both theories and activities about diving skills, troubles that can occur while diving and how to help people caught up in difficulties at sea. We believe that after this program was completed, everyone gained useful knowledge and experience.
