Wildfire Extinguishing Equipment Support for Wildfire Extinguishing Officers in the North

Since the beginning of 2020, there have been several critical wildfire incidents in many provinces and the situation has worsened in the summer. In order to support the wildfire extinguishing officers, Singha R-Sa donated wildfire extinguishing equipment and Singha drinking water to officers working in the areas impacted by the wildfire throughout March.

On 6 March, Singha R-Sa collaborated with Singha Park Chiang Rai Company Limited Singha R-Sa student networks from Mae Fah Luang University and Chiang Rai Rajabhat University to donate wildfire extinguishing equipment, including wildfire extinguishing blowers, high-pressure water tanks, fire swatters, rake hoes, as well as clean drinking water and rice to the Wildfire Control and Operation Division. Khun Ploenpit Hancharoenwanapusit, general manager of Singha Park Chiang Rai Company Limited and Khun Preecha Tongkam-iam, director of the Wildfire Control and Operation Division, Conservation Area Administration Office 15, Chiang Rai, represented both parties. In addition to equipment donation, Singha R-Sa also constructed firebreaks together with Chiang Rai Wildfire Operation Center at Ban Pong Pu Fueang, Mae Saruay district, Chiang Rai.

It’s not done at this point. Our help still goes on. Singha R-Sa also donated Singha drinking water to the Wildfire Control and Operation Division, Conservation Area Administration Office 16, Chiang Mai, on 7 March and to the Conservation Area Administration Office 13 in Wiangnua sub-district, Mueang Lampang district, Lampang on 16 March. Khun Ronnarong Koednual, director of the Wildfire Control and Operation Division, Lampang, was the representative.

Wildfire extinguishing is not an easy task. The Singha R-Sa team observed officers and volunteers working hard with almost no rest. We are glad to have been part of the support and the encouragement for all relevant officers.
