Donation of Essentials for People Affected by the Covid-19 Situation

Covid-19 has caused a great impact not only on our wellbeing but also on everybody’s life. Since the beginning of the outbreak, many people suffered a decrease or down to nothing to their income. Some also, lost their jobs. It is indeed affecting everybody. Singha R Sa has therefore donated rice, food and Singha drinking water to the affected people.

On 9 April 2020, Singha R Sa visited a community near bus garage  no. 127 (opposite to Mangkon Kamalawat 2 Temple) in Bangbuathong , Nonthaburi , where bus drivers and conductors who had then lost their jobs reside, to provide Singha drinking water, Pundee rice, Yodthong fish sauce, Hesco snacks and pasteurized milk for 57 residents from 15 households.

In addition, on 29 April, Singha R Sa and Mr. Suchin Ingkapradit, managing director of Singha Beverage Company Limited, visited the area around the manufacturing facility ,located in Banglen district , Nakorn Pathom, to provide affected civilians with Singha drinking water and other essential items after having learned how they were affected by the Covid-19 situation.

Upon visiting both sites, the Singha R Sa team members had some conversations with the residents. Some said in tears that their income dropped because they could not do business. Some lost their jobs and were unable to cover their daily expenses. They appreciated our help and they were very grateful for it. Hearing how we were able to contribute to this encouraging mission truly brought smiles to our faces. We will always be here to help, and we will get through this together.
