After the fire which engulfed the accommodation of staff from the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) at Soi Ramkhamhaeng 24/1 on the 20th August, those people whose homes were burned were moved into temporary shelter.
Volunteers from Singha R-SA visited the affected area on 23rd August 2018 to see the damage and to bring gifts of water and rice to the SAT staff whose homes were lost. After talking to the victims, we learned that although they had seemingly lost everything in the blaze, they had not lost hope, and believed that they would be able to recover from the setback and turn their lives around very quickly. We expressed our best wishes and sincerely hope they are successful in moving on from this tragedy.
